A toiletry bag, the most banal thing to carry along, but if you are travelling around and staying at multiple locations, it’s now your private cabinet and you will want it to be organized and things easy to access.
Here’s a link for the bag I have (actually mine is a MiniSo bag. I couldn’t find a link, so I used the Muji model, because it’s clearly been copied by MiniSo 🤭). The only thing I think it’s missing is a mirror.

Products you should consider
☞ When you choose what products to carry around, I look for two things: no mess and long lasting.
For example I don’t want to buy new tiny shampoo bottles every week, so I opt for the shampoo bars. They last a long while (over a month), they don’t make a mess, and best of all they are solid, meaning it’s that much more liquid allowance saved to use on things like conditionner (solid conditionner just doesn’t work for my hair) and hair cream. I recently started considering solid moisturizers, lush has nice ones (but they are tiny🫤).
So here are my recommendations:
👝 For your toiletries bag
- Lush bar shampoo
- Lush bar conditionner, if you like them
- Some vaseline
- Hair cream, I personally cannot possibly consider life without it (this is where my liquid allowance is spent)
- A minimal grooming kit (tweezers, nail clippers, scissors, nail file, razor)
- A small sized brush
- Sunscreen
- I recently started thinking about using solid body moisturizer
- A toothbrush cover
- Solid toothpaste (Lush makes good ones)
- Dental floss
- A soap bar
🌙 Female hygiene
- Check this post I wrote about travel friendly options and more sustainable alternatives, there will be one for you.
🩴 Other essentials
- a microfibre towel → compact, fast dry, absorbent
- flip flops → you never know who just stepped into that shower floor
